Here is my brother J.D. Miller. He is the one that takes care of my Sarasota assisted living facilities. If it was not for him, I do not know what I would do about keeping up on all the maintenance. Luckily for me J.D. has been in Sarasota much longer than I have. I belive every since 1980 or so. He knows exactly where to find everything so he can fix a variety of assisted living facilities in the area. He not only works on mine, but many others around Sarasota. I will be showing you a few of my rooms so you can get a feel of what it would be like to stay in our sarasota assisting living facilities.

Hello, this is me (Terri) standing in the Lanai just off the dining room. I have been doing assisted living in Sarasota Florida since 2001. For a while I lived with my brother. Hello, it is me again.

Yes it has been over 9 years since I moved to Sarasota Florida and started doing Sarasota assisted living. Since I started doing Sarasota assisted living, I have been able to purchase a place that is perfect to take care of several people at the same time. My kitchen and dining room is centrally located in the house. Here you can see a picture of my dining room, looking out to the pool.

Long Term Home Care

Long term home care is one of my specialties. Since I have been in Sarasota Florida, I had the privilege of taking care of one of the nicest patients in my lifetime. Bless his heart he has gone up to glory, but while I had him in my care he was for ever grateful of the care his family entrusted to me.

We took care of John for over six years in my home, and he was one of my best patience. I often times miss him, but then there is always someone to take care of so I quickly try to move on and get with the present because that is where everyone needs to be.

My next post I will tell you about a real live American Indian I took care of in Missouri! He was another good patient of mine! I can’t wait to tell ya!

Assisted Living for over 25 years!

Hello, my name is Terri Floyd, and I have been helping people live their lives for over 25 years. I have always called my self one of those home health aids since I started doing this professionally (getting paid for my services) when I started at 16 years of age.
